East Boston – October 15, 2025 — A shooting investigation is currently underway following a violent incident that occurred Wednesday evening in East Boston, leaving one individual critically injured and the community on edge.

Shortly before 8:00 p.m., Boston Police officers and EMS crews responded urgently to reports of a shooting in the area of 321 Brandywyne Drive, a residential neighborhood near the Orient Heights section of East Boston. Upon arrival, first responders found a victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, including a gunshot to the neck, which was causing severe bleeding.

Emergency medical personnel provided life-saving aid on the scene before transporting the victim to a nearby hospital.
