MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. — It is with profound sorrow that family, friends, and the wider Michigan City community mourn the tragic and unexpected passing of 31-year-old Gregory Wyse, whose life was taken in a heartbreaking incident on October 27th, 2025.
According to preliminary information from the Michigan City Police Department, officers responded to reports of an emergency late Monday evening in the 300 block of Franklin Street. When they arrived, they found Wyse unresponsive. Despite the efforts of first responders and paramedics, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
