Milwaukee Police Investigating Murder After 31-Year-Old Nya Raymond Found Dead Near 41st and Hampton

Milwaukee, WI (Nov. 5, 2025) — A community is mourning tonight after 31-year-old Nya Raymond was found dead in an alley near 41st Street and Hampton Avenue on Tuesday morning. The Milwaukee Police Department has confirmed that the death is being investigated as a homicide.

According to officials, officers responded to the area shortly after 9 a.m. following reports of a person found unresponsive. When they arrived, they discovered Raymond suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite efforts by first responders, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
