Community Mourns Beloved Alvarado High School Teacher Found Dead; Husband Arrested for Her Murder

The small town of Alvarado is reeling after the tragic death of a beloved high school teacher, Chelsea Spillers, whose body was discovered in her home last week. Police have confirmed that her husband, 38-year-old Daniel Spillers, was arrested days later and charged with her murder. According to the Alvarado Police Department, officers were called to the Spillers residence on the evening of October 16 after a welfare check was requested by a concerned family member.
