It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we share the passing of Coach Eric Bridges, a pillar of the Florence Middle School community for nearly two decades. Coach Bridges was far more than just a coach and teacher; he was a mentor, a leader, a steadfast role model, and a guiding light to countless young athletes and students throughout his remarkable career.

For almost 20 years, Coach Bridges devoted himself to shaping the lives of those fortunate enough to cross his path. Visitation and Service Information

Family, friends, students, athletes, and community members are invited to honor Coach Bridges’ life and legacy at First Baptist Church Florence (FBC Florence). Visitation will be held on:

• Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM

• Saturday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed immediately by the service.

This gathering will be a time to share stories, celebrate his life, and find solace together in remembering a man who gave so much to others.

While we mourn his passing, we also celebrate the extraordinary life of Coach Eric Bridges—a man whose influence will forever be felt in the halls of Florence Middle School and in the hearts of every athlete who had the honor to call him coach.
