His loss is deeply felt throughout the rink, the locker room, and the hearts of everyone who knew him both on and off the ice.

News of Xander’s unexpected death on October 6, 2025 has sent shockwaves through Carmel, Indiana, and beyond.  Though details surrounding the circumstances remain private, those close to him describe the moment as sudden and incomprehensible.

For a sport built on teamwork, trust, and camaraderie, losing someone like Xander is a fracture not easily healed. The rink feels emptier, the bench quieter, and the routine of practices and games now carries a hollow echo.

Who Xander Was: More Than Just a Player

Though his time was too short, Xander’s presence left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
