On Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at approximately 2:30 PM, officers from the Chicago Police Department responded to a report of a shooting in the West Garfield Park neighborhood, near West End Avenue and Keeler Avenue. Just minutes later, Mt. Sinai Hospital confirmed the arrival of a teen male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
